Sicom Rubber Futures Rise; Gains May Be Limited (2012/02/03)

0436 GMT [Dow Jones] Sicom rubber futures are higher midday on the Thai government's price intervention plans and as major producers are entering the low-production season. Sicom's gains may be limited Friday ahead of the weekend, traders say. The benchmark Sicom March RSS3 contract trades is untraded; the nearest traded contract--May--is 2.7 U.S. cents higher at 411.9 cents/kg. The March TSR20 contract is up 1.1 cent at 374.5 cents/kg. (
